Area of Study

After completing your PRINCE2 Foundation certification, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of:

• Why there is a need for project management and how PRINCE2 addresses it
• PRINCE2 principles, processes, and themes
• Collecting information to include in Project Initiation Document
• Designing plans and reports at each level in the project team, and more

After completing your PRINCE2 Practitioner certification, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of:

• Managing projects using globally-recognized PRINCE2 methodology
• Delivering projects that meet budget, timelines, quality, and minimize risks
• 7 principles, processes, and themes described in the PRINCE2 guidelines
• Managing interdependencies and identifying new opportunities within a project

Eligibility:

There are no prerequisites to take up the PRINCE2 Foundation Exam. To sit for the PRINCE2 Practitioner examination you must have passed any one of the below-mentioned exams:

• PRINCE2 Foundation
• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
• IPMA Level A® (Certified Projects Director)
• IPMA Level B® (Certified Senior Project Manager)
• IPMA Level C® (Certified Project Manager)
• IPMA Level D® (Certified Project Management Associate)

Exam Format:

PRINCE2 Practitioner Exam Format:

Exam duration: 150 minutes

Number of Questions: 68 Questions

Passing Criteria: 55%, i.e, approximately 38 out of 68 questions should be answered correctly

Exam Type : Open Book

PRINCE2 Foundation Exam Format:

Exam duration: 60 minutes

Number of Questions: 60 Questions

Passing Criteria: 55%, i.e, approximately 33 out of 60 questions should be answered correctly

Exam Type : Closed Book
