The programme bridges the gap between theoretical EA frameworks and real-world application, ensuring participants can lead or contribute meaningfully to EA initiatives within their organizations from day one. This programme aims to equip ICT professionals with the knowledge, tools, and hands-on experience to design and manage virtualized infrastructure environments, automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration, model and execute business processes using BPMN 2.0 and the Camunda platform, and implement enterprise automation strategies that reduce manual effort, improve process efficiency, and support digital transformation goals. Participants will leave with skills that span both the infrastructure and business process dimensions of automation — enabling them to connect technical capabilities with operational improvement in a coherent, managed way.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This programme is suitable for professionals at the intersection of IT infrastructure, operations, and process improvement, including:
- Systems Administrators and Infrastructure Engineers managing virtualised environments
- ICT Officers and Network Engineers involved in data centre and cloud operations
- Business Analysts and Process Improvement Specialists
- DevOps and Platform Engineers looking to extend automation capabilities
- IT Managers and Operations Leads responsible for digital transformation delivery
- Project Managers overseeing systems modernisation or automation initiatives
- Enterprise Architects who need applied skills in virtualisation and process automation
A working knowledge of IT infrastructure concepts is recommended. No prior experience with Camunda or BPMN is required.
TRAINING OUTCOMES
By the end of this programme, participants will be able to:
- Design and manage virtualised infrastructure environments using VMware vSphere, vCenter, and
ESXi - Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible for automated provisioning and configuration
- Apply cloud architecture models and design hybrid cloud strategies appropriate to their
organisation’s context - Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery of applications and configuration changes
- Model business processes to BPMN 2.0 standard — from simple flows through to complex,
exception-handling models - Conduct structured process gap analysis using Lean, Six Sigma DMAIC, and value chain techniques
- Deploy, execute, and monitor business processes using the Camunda BPM platform across its full
lifecycle - Design and implement DMN decision tables for automated business rule processing
- Identify automation candidates within existing processes and select appropriate automation
approaches (RPA vs. workflow vs. intelligent automation) - Develop an enterprise automation roadmap aligned to organisational digital transformation
